The 8x16 rectangular geometric cutting board features a recessed top and an oval handle hole to make it easier to pick up. However the distinctive feature is the colored veneer that snakes down the center of the board. This is a maple veneer that has a food safe dye impregnated (Under high pressure So each wood cell has color within it). These colors will never fade or disappear and are food safe. The cutting board shown is made from walnut and ash with two strips of green veneer. The cutting board you will receive will be made from an equally attractive combination of these or other hard woods and most likly will have a different set of color strips. $47.00
